Yellow Quill TLE - Trust

In 1992, Yellow Quill First Nation and twenty-four other Saskatchewan First Nations signed the Treaty Land Entitlement (TLE) Framework Agreement with the Governments of Saskatchewan and Canada. Within the scope of this TLE Framework Agreement, TLE is a process where the federal and provincial governments are fulfilling Treaty commitments of land made to First Nations. In the year of signing, Yellow Quill First Nation was allocated $29,376,731 for land purchases (i.e. shortfall acres of 11,801 and maximum acres of 117,274).

For reasons of confidentiality, Yellow Quill TLE will not disclose publicly the current financial status of the TLE Trust principal. Yellow Quill TLE will, however, provide the current TLE Audit to band membership upon request.
